The story
Auberge de Bellevie is a wine-focused restaurant in Poligny at 14 Rue du Bourg-Bas, 39800 Grozon, and Le Fooding listed it in 2026. The house is a former B&B with old stone walls and wooden rafters.
Zoé Boinet spent years as a sommelier at L'Auberge de Chassignolles before taking on the Jura. She refurbished the building with a mirrored countertop and antique tableware and linens. Le Fooding says she makes guests feel they are eating at her own table. The kitchen belongs to Australian chef Byron Fini, who has worked at Peg in London and Le Doyenné in Saint-Vrain, with Margot Meziane alongside him.
The Le Fooding reviewer ate Cancale oysters with raw cream, celery and apple, then 24-month Comté fritters. Flame-charred mackerel came with a satsuma mandarin yogurt sauce, and rosy trout with raw fennel over almond purée. Dessert was agastache ice cream with toasted hazelnuts. The bread is baked by Ariane Stern.
Monday lunch is a €25 set menu. Sunday lunch is €35, with three starters to share. Dinner is à la carte from Thursday to Monday. Upstairs, four double rooms run from €110 to €170 with breakfast included, which suits a long evening over the wine list.
