The story
Tempero, at 24 Promenade Claude Lévi-Strauss in Paris, is a Brazilian-influenced French kitchen run by chef Alessandra Montagne. Le Fooding listed the relaunched restaurant in 2026, a few meters from the original Station F location she first opened. The Paris address works as a bistro, a grocery and a wine shop under one roof.
Alessandra Montagne was born in Rio de Janeiro and trained with chefs William Ledeuil and Adeline Grattard before opening the first Tempero in 2012. The menu is built on produce from the Île-de-France region and local growers. Every ingredient is used in full, including all parts of the meat and fish. French terroir cooking carries Brazilian influences from the chef's background.
Le Fooding highlighted a lunch of crisp raw cos lettuce with honey mustard vinaigrette and grated Comté. The chicken comes from Milly-la-Forêt and is roasted in a Dutch oven until the skin turns golden, then finished with cream and served with canjiquinha, a Brazilian polenta. The meal ends with an upside-down crème caramel. Afternoon snacks include pão de queijo, cakes and cookies.
The dining room has plenty of wood and mixes bistro, épicerie and wine shop in one space. Olive oil, honey and spices from the shop can be taken home. In the evening, the kitchen serves a seven-course tasting menu, with an option that pairs each course with wine.
