The story
Le Pantruche is a Paris bistro at 3 rue Victor-Massé in the 9th arrondissement, with a modern bistro kitchen that earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
Franck Baranger and Edouard Bobin opened Le Pantruche as their first restaurant, before Caillebotte, Belle Maison, Le Coucou and Café Mirette. Franck enjoys reshaping bistro classics. A Le Fooding review described a prix-fixe dinner with pork cheek and scamorza ravioli in a creamy broth, and lamb belly over eggplant caviar with Greek yogurt, za'atar and samphire. The meal closed with a Grand Marnier soufflé and salted caramel.
The room keeps a retro Parisian look, with Art Deco curves, mirrored walls, a zinc bar and moleskin benches. Le Fooding named it Best bistro in 2012. The wine list leans conventional, with some organic bottles, and a lunch prix-fixe at €23 features a dish of the day.
