The story
ERH serves modern cuisine at 11 rue Tiquetonne in Paris's 2nd arrondissement, inside La Maison du Saké, and carries a Michelin Recommended listing for 2026. Chef Ryuichi Utsumi cooks here, drawing on Japanese craft and French produce.
Utsumi began in Japan, working with sushi, before he studied French gastronomy and settled in Paris. That double training shapes the kitchen. The restaurant describes a menu that changes with the seasons and sits somewhere between the two countries. It is built to work alongside the house sake selection.
Lunch comes in two formats: a four-course Découverte at 65 euros and a six-course Expérience at 90 euros. Dinner offers three tasting menus: Éveil (five courses, 75 euros), Réminiscence (seven, 120 euros) and Harmonie (nine, 165 euros), where the chef decides everything. A sake pairing is available with three glasses at 55 euros or five at 85 euros. The restaurant also lists a notable sake collection, and it received 3 Radishes from the We're Smart Green Guide in 2026.
Below the dining room, under historic vaults, is the Golden Promise bar. It holds a cocktail bar and a whisky bar with more than 1,000 whiskies and around a hundred sakes. Utsumi also writes the menu of shared plates served there.
