The story
La Maison Alyette, the bistro at Domaine de Locguénolé in Lorient, serves modern cuisine built on Breton produce. The address is Route de Port-Louis, Le Hingair, Kervignac, 56700, France. The Domaine holds one Michelin star (2026), held by its gastronomic table L'Inattendu, which shares the same chef.
Yann Maget leads both restaurants at the Domaine and designed the bistro menu. He is a Meilleur Ouvrier de France, and his cooking uses seasonal produce from small local producers. Classic French dishes arrive with a lighter, inventive touch, and seafood takes on iodised, marine notes.
The bistro sits on the ground floor of the château, where a panoramic terrace overlooks the clearing and the sea. The name honours Alyette de la Sablière, a former owner of the château. The Domaine's bar, L'Apparat, pours cocktails and fine spirits.
