The story
Hostellerie de la Pointe Saint-Mathieu, at 7 place Saint-Tanguy in Plougonvelin near Le Conquet, serves Breton and modern French cooking in a gastronomic restaurant that holds one Michelin star (2026).
Nolwenn Corre leads the kitchen and reworks the house classics with her own touch. The menus rely on Breton produce, from oysters to milk-fed lamb raised on a Plougonvelin farm.
The restaurant occupies rooms with old vaulted ceilings and contemporary furniture. The Bistrot 1954 faces the sea and the lighthouse, serving seafood and traditional recipes from lunch through dinner.
