The story
Maison Aribert, in Grenoble at 280 allée du Jeune-Bayard, Uriage-les-Bains, is a modern cuisine restaurant that holds two Michelin stars (2026). Chef Christophe Aribert cooks in the park of Uriage-les-Bains, between the Vercors, Belledonne and Chartreuse mountain ranges, and the menu follows the seasons.
Aribert grew up in the Vercors, where his family worked as market gardeners, bakers, cooks and hoteliers. That background shapes the modern kitchen, which relies on local producers. The brigade tends a permaculture vegetable garden on the restaurant roof, and the kitchen already grows its own herbs and several vegetables. Market gardener Benjamin Saby says Aribert makes his vegetables shine.
The property has nine guest rooms across two buildings, each with a private bathroom and views over the park. Michelin has awarded the hotel its Key. The ground-floor Café A serves village-style dishes at lunch and dinner every day of the week.
