The story
Le Montrachet serves modern cuisine at 10 place du Pasquier-de-la-Fontaine in Puligny-Montrachet (listed under Corpeau), and the Michelin Guide recommends it for 2026. The restaurant belongs to the COMO Le Montrachet hotel, a 19th-century village inn.
Chef Romain Versino leads the kitchen. Menus are refined closely and built on local produce, with seasonal Burgundian ingredients at the center. The hotel describes the results as authentic French cuisine.
Sommeliers suggest pairings from an extensive list, a sensible offer in a village known for Chardonnay from Grand Cru vineyards. Versino also cooks occasional one-night menus. One is a five-course caviar dinner with Caviar de Neuvic, held in the main restaurant room for up to 15 guests, with the date still to be announced. The hotel's Executive Chef also teaches cooking classes, including a market-to-table session at Beaune Market that ends in a four-course Burgundian menu.
The inn faces the village square, a few steps from the Le Montrachet vineyard. Paola Navone Otto Studio redesigned the interiors, with custom furnishings and a palette that echoes the surrounding countryside. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible by the main hotel entrance. It also holds 1 Radish from the We're Smart Green Guide for 2026.
