The story
Restaurant AOC at Dronningens Tværgade 2 in Copenhagen is a modern gastronomy restaurant that holds two Michelin stars for 2026, the guide's mark for excellent cooking. The kitchen pairs locally sourced ingredients with a wine list drawn from around the world.
Søren Selin's tasting menu moves between classics and newer creations, according to the White Guide, which placed the restaurant at global masters level for 2026. Menus can be composed to your wishes or follow the kitchen's own recommendation. The wine list is wide, and the pairings are built to match each course.
The dining room sits under the heavy arches of Count Moltke's palace, with cellar vaults dating from the 17th century. New lightweight lamps and acoustic panels make the room brighter and softer on arrival. Restaurant manager Silas Souza Neves greets guests at the door. For groups of 10 to 18, a smaller private room opens off the restaurant behind glass doors.
