The story
Jordnær is a New Nordic restaurant in Copenhagen at Gentofte Stationsvej 1, 2820 Gentofte, and it holds three Michelin stars (2026).
The evening menu lists fifteen courses in English, from bleak roe with shrimp salad and buckwheat to Leatherwood honey with milk and Polynesian vanilla. Bluefin otoro arrives with myoga and caviar, scallops with white currant and rose, and turbot with vin jaune and truffle. The kitchen makes small changes on the day, and the menu is priced at DKK 4,200.
Seafood sits at the center of the menu. Langoustine appears twice, once as an essence with tomato and vanilla and once with sakura. Citrus and Japanese seasonings such as yuzu, sansho pepper, ponzu and wasabi run through the savory courses. The kitchen does not offer a vegetarian or vegan menu, and it can accommodate some allergies and diets but not all, so guests should raise requirements at least 48 hours before the reservation.
The White Guide placed Jordnær at global masters level in 2026, describing the cooking as delicate and precise. The restaurant also offers private dining for groups.
