The story
Konoba Fetivi is a Dalmatian kitchen at Tomića stine 4 in Split's Varoš district, and Gault&Millau scored it 13 in 2026. The tavern has kept the same classic Dalmatian cooking for years, with a short menu that changes very little.
The menu leans on soups, proven fish dishes and meat specialties. Pašticada, the braised beef, comes with homemade gnocchi, and the octopus salad is lightly marinated and seasoned to taste. The black cuttlefish risotto is creamy and thick, with the rice cooked just right and the cuttlefish soft and juicy. Octopus goulash with chickpeas is rarely seen on menus, so it is worth asking about.
The atmosphere is relaxed and family-like, and locals and visitors sit at the same tables. The wine list features good Croatian labels. The Piplović family has built a recognizable style here over the years. Reservations are recommended, the room is air-conditioned, and there is outdoor seating as well.
