The story
Taian Table Guangzhou is a contemporary fine dining restaurant on the second floor of LN Garden Hotel, 368 Huanshi East Road, Yuexiu, Guangzhou. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 stars for 2026, citing excellent cooking.
Chef Stefan Stiller founded Taian Table in Shanghai in April 2016, and the Guangzhou restaurant carries the same concept. His earlier restaurant, Restaurant Grand Cru in Deidesheim, earned a Michelin star within eight months of opening. The kitchen works in a refined, modern style rooted in European technique. It draws ingredients and flavours from across Asia and beyond. Anson Ren, executive sous chef, works alongside Stefan and chef de cuisine Ivan.
Dinner follows a degustation format. Every guest begins with a fixed eight-course menu, and dishes are prepared in view of the open kitchen and introduced by the chefs. Guests can add signature or seasonal dishes, so the final price depends on what they choose. The menu changes with the seasons, roughly every two months. The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide also awarded the restaurant 1 Diamond for 2026. Some food allergies can be accommodated when guests flag them before the reservation, though not every dish can be adapted.
