The story
Azura is a contemporary Canadian restaurant at 162 Danforth Ave. in Toronto, where a Mediterranean-inspired tasting menu earned a 2026 Michelin Recommended listing. The dining room sits in Greektown and opened in 2024.
Chef Adam Ryan and Joshua Mott founded Azura in 2024. The kitchen serves an 11-course blind tasting menu that pairs Mediterranean flavours with seasonal Canadian ingredients. The menu changes daily as new produce arrives, and dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, can be accommodated.
The wine list features Mediterranean bottles alongside wines from the world's major viticultural regions, and Wine Spectator gave it an Award of Excellence in 2025. Cocktails follow the same local, seasonal approach with minimal intervention. Guests can add a wine pairing or a spirited or non-spirited cocktail pairing to the tasting menu.
