The story
Mona Lisa, at Rue Colonel-Tachet-des-Combes 19 in Yvoir, Belgium, is a modern Italian restaurant that earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026. The same year, Gault&Millau awarded it 14 points.
Sicilian chef Emanuele Indorato leads the kitchen. He describes cooking as a way to share the heritage behind his food, and he blends Italian traditions with a contemporary touch. The menu is built around high-quality ingredients and changes with the seasons, so the dishes you find on one visit may differ on the next.
Recent menus have included tagliolini di Campofilone with cacio e pepe and black truffle, offered as a supplement, and a risotto with morels and Piedmont hazelnut. Mains have featured fish of the day with gnocchi and courgettes, and beef with morels and a meat jus. For dessert, a plum cake with clementine and sabayon appears on the carte.
The dining room is designed to be warm and modern, with wood, velvet, white marble and original tableware. The restaurant has air conditioning and outdoor seating. Each tasting menu can be paired with wine or with a non-alcoholic selection.
