The story
Centpourcent is a modern cuisine restaurant at Antwerpsesteenweg 1 in Walem (postal address Sint-Katelijne-Waver), and it holds one Michelin star in 2026. According to the restaurant, this is the fifteenth year the star has marked its entrance.
Axel Colonna-Cesari pairs traditional ingredients with innovative techniques, with attention to texture as much as flavour. Gault&Millau rated the restaurant 15.5 in 2026 and describes him and hostess Anneleen Soethaert as a duo combining craftsmanship with hospitality. The three-course lunch menu, Ontdekken, changes every two weeks and follows what regional producers have in season.
Menus run from the three-course Ontdekken at €62 (lunch only) to a seven-course Eindeloos Genieten + at €168 on Friday and Saturday evenings. Each can be taken with matched wines, a beer pairing or non-alcoholic ice teas. Dishes can be adapted for vegetarian diets and allergies if you mention it when booking.
