The story
La Petite Gayole is a French bistro at Place de Thuillies 12 in Thuillies, Belgium. The Michelin Bib Gourmand it received in 2026 recognises cooking that offers good quality at good value.
The room keeps the feel of a village café. A wooden bar counter runs through the space, and the banquettes and chairs are built from solid timber. Posters on the walls recall local fairs and scenes of rural life, a nod to the bourgeois cooking that inspires the menu.
The kitchen works from traditional French dishes, cooked generously and with plenty of flavour. Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 13 points in 2026 and singled out the warm welcome and familiar dishes that live up to their promise.
