Kitchen and cellar

Nicolas Vandormael cooks classic French dishes with Asian touches. He offers a set menu alongside a short à la carte, and Gault&Millau rated the kitchen 13 in 2026. His partner Maurane Adriaensens runs the dining room and chooses the wines. They opened the restaurant after years in respected kitchens and hotel school training in Koksijde.

Room and terrace

The restaurant stands on what the owners call the loveliest bend of the Scheldt. The interior was recently refreshed. In winter there is a fireplace and the autumn colours of the river outside. In summer the terrace looks out over the water.
