The story
Le Roi de Trèfle is a Classic French restaurant at Avenue Baron Louis Huart 12 in Namur, rated 13.5 by Gault&Millau in 2026. Brigitte Dekoninck and Patrick Kleeblatt run this townhouse on the banks of the Meuse themselves.
There is no fixed carte in the evening. Guests choose from the ingredients on a small board, build their own starter and main (€27.50 and €37.50), and talk through the recipes with the hosts. Thursday and Friday lunch is a set €43.50, and Sunday midday brings a €56.50 menu.
The hosts call their food traditional, bourgeois French cooking, built on local and seasonal products where possible. The wine list is broad, and guests are invited to visit the cellar in person. Michelin also lists the house as Recommended for 2026.
