The story
Cécila, at Avenue du Parc 3 in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, is a seafood and vegetable kitchen where chef Mélanie Englebin cooks to the seasons. Gault&Millau awarded it 15 points in 2026.
Englebin takes her inspiration from the sea and from plant produce. Her cooking is light and precise, with a creative streak that stays close to the ingredient. The Green Guide gave the restaurant 5 Radishes in 2026.
The evening menus run as two parallel tracks, Exploration Marine and Exploration Végétale, priced between 105 and 165 euros. A midday business lunch is 55 euros, and Thursday evenings bring a shorter four-course menu at 85 euros. Any menu can be paired with wine or with an alcohol-free accord. The dining room sits in an elegant villa surrounded by greenery, with an intimate, unhurried feel.
