The story
Le Sixième, at Avenue Fernand Charlot 2 in Jodoigne, is a modern cuisine restaurant that earned a 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand for good quality, good value cooking. Gault&Millau also scored it 13 in 2026.
Chef Clément and his team cook with fresh, natural ingredients, sourced as far as possible from local producers. The kitchen's centrepiece is a Josper charcoal oven, which the restaurant says draws out the full flavour of the produce. The house describes its cooking as French at heart.
The current menu lists quenelles de bar with Espelette pepper sorbet, haricots and crumble, and roast coucou de Malines with butter, creamy polenta and spinach. For dessert, there is a chocolate soufflé soup with pecan caramel focaccia, or pan-fried peach with rhubarb sorbet and almond crumble. The three-service menu is priced at €54 and the four-service menu at €66.
