The story

Quel Bon Vin T'Amène in Grez-Doiceau: Belgian Bistro and Natural Wine Bar

Quel Bon Vin T'Amène is a bistro and wine bar at Chaussée de Jodoigne 9 in Grez-Doiceau, Belgium, awarded 12.5 points by Gault&Millau in 2026. The kitchen cooks with local produce, and the wine list is built around natural and organic bottles.

Natural and organic wines

The list runs through biodynamic and natural producers, with bottles from Ganevat, Belluard and Gramenon. Guests can drink at the bar or at a table, and the outdoor seating makes the wine bar side of the place easy to enjoy in warm weather.

Small plates from the kitchen

The bistro cooks what it can source locally: terrines, pickles, daubes, parmentiers and tourtes, plus breads, pastries and cured meats. The menu follows the market, so the dishes change with the season. Le Fooding listed the venue in 2026, highlighting a guinea fowl and veal sweetbread pâté en croûte with celery rémoulade.

They’re back! In 2021, the Train tributary flooded the chic bistro Gustave after a few drunken days. Isabelle Bervoets (a wine expert) and Arnold Godin (ex-Hôtel Majestic in Fes) pivoted and continued the party with Quel Bon Vin T’Amène (QBVA for insiders), that’s been given a natural wine chalet-style makeover, complete with small plates for sharing (or not). In our bellies, the night we went: guinea fowl and veal sweetbread pâté en croûte that goes right to your head with its titillating celery rémoulade; heady ravioli dressed with pecorino and artichokes; a delightful beef stew with rosemary, orange and some spellbinding mashed potatoes; and to end the meal on a sweet note, Condé rice pudding with candied orange peels and crispy caramel. // Ambre Oisy
