The story
Le Mont-à-Gourmet serves modern cuisine at place Communale 12 in Gouy-lez-Piéton, and Gault&Millau rated it 14.5 in 2026. The house has called itself a maison gourmande since 2002.
Arnaud Hamoline took over the restaurant from his father, Alain Hamoline, after deciding at the end of 2015 to carry it on. Renovations followed. In February 2016 he gave the kitchen to his friend Nicolas Tournay, who had trained in starred houses including L'Essentiel in Temploux, Le Prieuré Saint Géry and Au Gré du vent.
The Club Prosper Montagné named Tournay first cook of Belgium in 2020. The Michelin Guide lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026, and outdoor seating is available.
