The story
Au Cœur de Lacuisine serves classic cuisine at rue du Fond des Naux 7 in Lacuisine, part of Florenville in the Belgian Gaume. The Michelin Guide gave it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
Ronny Bosmans leads the kitchen, and Gault&Millau scores it 13 (2026), calling his style authentic. The carte lists seven dishes: two vegetarian, two fish, two meat and one surf and turf. Each can be ordered as a starter or a main. Guests choose a formula, priced from 42 to 64 euros, and build their own sequence, with dessert or cheese chosen in advance.
The current card runs from 7 May to 8 July 2026. It includes weever with "Suédoise" potato, grilled asparagus and rosemary white butter, and langoustine with pork tenderloin, mash, peas and garlic butter. Grilled veal comes with baby potatoes and a wok of vegetables. Dessert options include rhubarb crème brûlée, and the cheese plate uses goat's and sheep's milk from L'Espérance farm in Prouvy. The kitchen adjusts the card to seasonal availability.
The restaurant sits inside a hotel with six rooms, set on about one hectare and a 200-metre walk from the Semois. Guests can eat in the dining room, at the bar or on the terrace. There is a large private car park, and the outdoor pool, renovated in 2022, is open to hotel guests only.
