The story
Les Fines Gueules sits at Faweux 794 in Charneux, in the Herve country of Belgium. The French bistro earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026, and its kitchen works in the bistro tradition with a clear focus on local produce.
The menu draws on the produce of the Pays de Herve and adds a light Asian touch. Everything is made in house. The terrine de campagne has been on the carte since the restaurant opened in 2012. Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 13.5 for 2026, praising creative dishes rooted in local terroir and subtly spiced with Asian influences.
The dining room seats 40, and there is a large terrace for warmer days. Seven guest rooms overlook the surrounding orchards and hedgerows. A fully equipped private hall hosts family celebrations and seminars.
