The inn is nearly five hundred years old and stands in the town center. The church sits on one side. On the other are the terrace and beer garden, which suit the warmer months.
The kitchen draws on a butcher shop attached to the house, run by the innkeeper's brother. That means fresh blood sausage, pan-fried sausage, meatloaf and boiled beef. The evening menu changes constantly, and the desserts earn particular praise. Michelin also lists the Gasthaus as Recommended for 2026.

It’s nearly five centuries old. The Wirt z`Zell, as the Gasthaus Langwallner is also called, is a stately house in the town center of Zell am Moos. On one side of the building is the church, on the other the terrace and beer garden. The cuisine is certainly traditional, but it draws on an attached butcher shop operated by the innkeeper’s brother. And that means: fresh blood sausage or pan-fried sausage, finest meatloaf, excellent boiled beef.
