Cooking from local ingredients

The menu changes with the seasons and is built from local produce. Chef-patron Marcus Bennett leads the kitchen, which has also been included in the Michelin Guide Recommended listing for 2026. Lunch runs from noon to 2pm and dinner from 5:30pm, with Sunday service until 4pm at lunch and 8pm at dinner.

The inn keeps its old character, while the refurbished interiors bring in modern décor across two dining areas. In warmer months, the walled garden becomes a suntrap, with tables set among flowers. Outdoor tables are bookable for lunch and dinner, seven days a week.
