Rùn, Cantonese Restaurant in Hong Kong: Michelin 2 Star (2026)

Rùn is a Cantonese restaurant at 1 Harbour Dr, Wan Chai, Hong Kong, inside The St. Regis Hong Kong. It holds a Michelin 2 Star award for 2026.

Contemporary Cantonese dishes

The menu covers dim sum, roasted meats, steamed fish and double-boiled soups, with Chinese petit fours to finish. Forbes Travel Guide, which awarded Rùn Four-Star in 2026, noted the quality of the ingredients and the precise plating. Two private dining rooms suit larger groups, each with a large round table and a lazy Susan for sharing.

Tea and the room

Resident tea master Kezia Chan oversees 28 blends and can arrange a tea pairing with your meal. Guests who prefer cocktails can try the tea-infused drinks. Tables sit well apart, and the back left corner offers privacy and natural light. Designer Fu's interior uses bronze, wood and glass Chinese lanterns that glow at night.

Forbes Travel Guide — Four-Star

If the setting is any indication, tea is a big part of the experience at Rùn, so be sure to try at least a cup or two. Resident tea master Kezia Chan can arrange a special tea-pairing experience or recommend one of the restaurant’s 28 different blends to accompany your dishes. We particularly enjoyed the tea-infused cocktails, should that be more your style.Unlike many Hong Kong restaurants that tend to pack people in, Rùn’s tables are well spaced around the room to ensure diners have plenty of elbow room. Ask for the back left corner for extra privacy and natural light, or an inner table to sink into soft banquette seats.Fu’s design sets the scene for an unforgettable meal. Look for pretty beige and bronze notes, lots of wood, and Hong Kong-inspired touches, such as contemporary glass Chinese lanterns that look particularly gorgeous at night.Reserve one of the two private dining rooms if you are expecting lots of friends, carrying an inconsolable baby or celebrating a special occasion. You’ll not only have your own comfy sitting area, but also a private bathroom and large circular table with a lazy Susan that makes sharing Chinese food much easier. The menu masters a wide range of contemporary Cantonese cuisine — dim sum, roasted meats, steamed fish dishes, nutritious double-boiled soups and Chinese petit fours — with only the best ingredients and picture-perfect presentations.
