The story
Lei Garden in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, is a Cantonese restaurant on the first floor of CNT Tower, 338 Hennessy Road, and appears in the 2026 Michelin Guide as Recommended.
Lei Garden dates to 1973 and describes itself as a seafood specialist. Over the past 50 years, the team says, it has studied the character of each type of seafood so that preparation brings out the original flavor rather than masking it. For a Cantonese kitchen, that puts the sea at the center of the menu.
The group sources seafood through its own factory, where relevant departments receive and test it. It states that no chemicals are added before the seafood is delivered fresh to the restaurant. The Black Pearl Restaurant Guide awarded Lei Garden 1 Diamond in 2026.
