Restaurant Freudenstein's, in the Genusshotel Immenhof in Neustadt an der Weinstraße, serves Mediterranean and Palatine cooking from Immengartenstr. 26, 67487 Maikammer. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 1,5 Kochlöffel in 2026 for its Palatinate dishes with a Mediterranean touch.

Palatinate roots, Mediterranean accents

The kitchen works with regional producers from the Palatinate and aims for short transport routes. Seasonal highlights shape the menu, which ranges from Pfälzer specialties to dishes from further afield. The Schlemmer Atlas describes a changing four-course menu.

Classics and the table

Hotel guests are invited to try the "Freudenstein's Klassiker", including snail pan, the Immenhof grill platter and Creme Brulée. Vegetarian dishes are on offer. Guests with allergies or intolerances are asked to mention them when booking, so the kitchen can prepare individual dishes.

Terrace, conservatory and bar

Diners can sit on the sun terrace, in the light-filled conservatory, or in the Mediterranean room with its Tuscan feel. The bar "Mediterrane" serves aperitifs, cocktails and Palatinate wines from 5 pm, often by candlelight.
