The story
Aischblick Restaurant-Cafe in Höchstadt an der Aisch cooks Franconian food at Große Bauerngasse 88 a, and the Schlemmer Atlas gave it one Kochlöffel in 2026.
The kitchen buys mostly from Franconian producers and selected farms carrying the Regionalbuffet seal. The menu keeps to classics such as Schäufele, schnitzel and Sauerbraten, with meat-free dishes alongside. Seasons set the changes: winter vegetables in December, game during hunting season, and the Aischgründer carp the house is known for.
Tables sit under trees with a view across the Aischgrund. Shaded spots suit couples, cyclists and families, and a paved area accommodates wheelchairs. Beer is freshly tapped, and the team also mixes sunset cocktails and makes its own ice cream.
